ARABTERM is a quadrilingual technical dictionary, jointly published by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This Project is carried out by the Bureau of Coordination of Arabization (BCA), in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
In addition to the glossaries in German, English and French, ARABTERM offers the translation of the terms, along with an illustrated definition in Arabic.

ARABTERM has recently uploaded two new volumes on Renewable Energies (5500 terms) and on Electrical Engineering (3000 terms), that follow the existing volumes on Water Technology (7700 terms) and on Automotive Engineering (4700 terms), validated at the last Arabization Congress held in Khartoum (Sudan) in November 2013.
According to a study conducted by the project team, this interactive dictionary has facilitated the work on technical documents of 95% of its users.
