The United Arab Emirates (UAE), where e-AGE19 is going to be held, is a federation of seven emirates on the eastern side of the Arabian peninsula, at the entrance to the Persian Gulf. It is a country rich in history and culture and heritage that reflects traditional Arab and Islamic values. 

 

Four-fifths of the UAE is desert but has contrasting landscapes—from the towering red dunes of the Liwa to the rich palm-filled Oasis of Al Ain, from the precipitous Hajar Mountains to the more fertile stretches of its coastal plains.

 

The combinatuion of Emirati Arab culture mixed with Southeast and South Asian as well as African and other immigrants who live there adds to an already vast and vibrant melting pot of cultures.
