A highly professional international caliber with government experience for about 25 years of working experience in the field of research, political economy, Internet industry, & international and regional affairs, dealing with UN agencies, EU partners and ICT diplomacy. Specialized in the development and promoting the Egyptian information and communications technology (ICTs) sector and setting its mission and vision for the international outreach. Handles multilateral negotiations and engages with UN organizations in drafting strategies and action plans. Manages and draft projects/ activities with EU partners and Mediterranean’s with different relevant government agencies such as Horizon 2020, FP7, Twinning projects and TAIX. Conduct and initiate strategic dialogue on bilateral basis. Foster cooperation with the international business community and multinationals.
Establishes national committees with governmental bodies and other entities to discuss and organize major national events hosted by Egypt chief amongst which: The National Committee for Telecom Africa, the 32nd International Public ICANN Meeting in Cairo, 2008 and the National Committee for the events of the fourth global meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF)in 2009. Works closely with his Excellency the minister in charge, in drafting speeches, policy documents, presentations and talking points when delivering international messages. Leads and mentors a team of 55 professionals providing all possible ways of raising their capacities and awareness to well represent the country in international and regional arenas.
